A sibling’s experiences parallel your experiences as a parent-caregiver.
Siblings of children with disabilities often experience grief, isolation, and overwhelm.
Trauma-informed Sibshops at TheraPLAYoga offer a safe space for healing, connection, and building resilience.
Through playful yoga, siblings can develop positive coping skills, learn about mental health, and form lasting friendships.
I know you want the absolute best for your beloveds.
Supporting the diverse needs of children is hard. Especially, when one’s needs seem so much greater and high stakes.
And let’s be real- you probably need a little respite & restoration too.
Let’s implement support for siblings that is fun and functional, with long term positive impacts.
Siblings are often the ones to step into the caregiver role as parents age.
Providing siblings respite, relief, enriching restoration, and recognition now, can support a lifestyle of mental health self-care, self & sibling advocacy, and sustain a positive sibling relationship through their lifespan.
